Education Classes More info ►

Every 12th Sunday, 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM

Education classes for adults and students are on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., unless noted otherwise. You are welcome to join any of these classes as any time. For more information, please see pamphlet at the Welcome Center.

Adult Classes offered for Fall Session:

** Resolving Everyday Conflict, led by Ron Kramer, meets in the Loft. This class will help you deal with conflicts at home, work, school, and church in a Biblical manner.

** After Darkness, Light led by Larry & Joanne Klyn will meet in the church basement at 9:25 a.m. In our next session on October 4, Sinclair Ferguson warns us about the internal decay that is affecting the function and direction of the church. Using the Ephesian church as an example, Ferguson reminds us of our task in a presentation called "Christ's Message to the Church". In this day of decline in society and the church, this message is more important than ever.

What do I do with my kids during Education Hour?

If you have an infant or small child, a nursery is available in the upstairs of the Ed. Building. If you have a K–2nd grader, there is a class with stories and activities located in the basement of the Ed. Building. There are also classes for all 3rd–12th graders. Please see the brochure at the Welcome Center for locations.

Children’s Church teaches our littlest ones a proper attitude toward the Worship of God.  We strive to acquaint them with the essential parts of a God determined Sunday worship service.  We help them understand the responsibility of those participating in worship.

Children participating in the worship service begin at age three and continue through second grade.  Upon completion of the second grade, the children receive their own personal NIV Bible.  In addition to a bible lesson gleaned from the CRC Walk With Me curriculum, we sing songs of praise t our Creator, participate in giving of our monies, and give thanks and praise to God through prayer.  The Children’s Church staff consists of a coordinator, teachers, and helpers.

Each Sunday morning, children in the Children’s church program enter the sanctuary with their parents for family worship.  At the appropriate time, the children are encouraged to attend Children’s church in the adjoining education building.  Parents pick up the children at the conclusion of the corporate worship service.

Children’s Church uses DWELL and Walk With ME curriculum.  Biblically based, it stresses reformed thought and is designed to “grow faith.”  Faithful to the scriptures we desire to motivate children to live out what they learn from God’s story.
